New progress for the government of President Talon, which has just succeeded with the International Monetary Fund in obtaining a provision of 22.4 million dollars (nearly 13 billion CFA francs) for Benin. It is based on several criteria which are among others: – the good economic prospects posted despite the obstacles observed for the achievement of high and inclusive growth – the implementation of satisfactory public policies – the expansion of economic activity with an expected growth of 6% for the year 2018 and thanks to a board of directors held on June 29, 2018 that the IMF according to a procedure of lack of opposition has decide to complete the second review of the Extended Credit Facility arrangement. A successful provision of funds thanks to the efforts and dynamism of the teams of Mr. Romuald WADAGNI, Minister of Economy and Finance of Benin and which will allow the government of Benin to effectively pursue the implementation and the realization of certain flagship projects of Benin Revealed, its Action Program.
