Allow me before continuing my remarks, to sacrifice to tradition to present on behalf of the Minister of Economy and Finance and all his cabinet, at the dawn of this new year, my wishes for health and peace, promotion and success in the implementation of the missions for which we are responsible. I would also like to congratulate you and thank you for your remarkable contribution to the preparation and voting of the 2019 finance law, the present ceremony of which marks the launch of its implementation. It is also the moment to congratulate the central and technical structures of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and those of the Ministry of Planning and Development for their success. Ladies and gentlemen, The 2019 finance law gives pride of place to growth-promoting sectors, identified to have a rapid and lasting impact on the Beninese economy. I want to mention a few, in particular the sectors of energy, the digital economy, tourism, agriculture, health, etc. In figures, the finance law for the 2019 management is balanced in resources and expenses at the sum of 1,877.543 billion FCFA structured as follows: Ordinary expenditure: 824.489 billion FCFA; Capital expenditure: 439.800 billion FCFA; Cash charges: CFAF 504.502 billion; Benin National Pension Fund: CFAF 85.450 billion; Trust account: 23.302 billion FCFA.
