Thus, any payment from April 1, 2018 is increased by a penalty of 20%. Unannounced checks by tax officials supported by those of the Republican police over the entire national territory have already started and will continue until the end of the year. In the event of non-payment of the TVM, the agents will remove the parts and / or impound your vehicle until payment of all the duties due. As a reminder, depending on the category of your vehicle, the TVM for the 2018 fiscal year amounts to an amount varying from: – 20,000 Fcfa to 60,000 Fcfa =>> private transport vehicle (depending on the fiscal power of the vehicle); – 38,000 Fcfa to 136,400 Fcfa =>> public transport vehicle (depending on the number of seats or the tonnage of the vehicle); – 150,000 Fcfa or 200,000 Fcfa =>> company vehicle (depending on the fiscal power of the vehicle) – 15,000 Fcfa =>> three-wheeled transport vehicle (except those used for the transport of persons with motor disabilities). NB: – The current year and the previous year (s) not yet paid are due. -You should make the TVM payment at the tax center in the area where your passbook was picked up during the check.
