The National Estate and Land Agency (ANDF) received a Togolese delegation this Friday, September 17, 2018. It was an opportunity for the Director General Jules Victorien KOUGBLENOU and his team to share the Beninese experience underway within the framework of the implementation of the land and property management reform. To learn and to be inspired, these were the objectives of the mission of the delegation of the sister and friend Republic of Togo which stayed a few days in Cotonou. In particular, the delegation took part in working sessions, in particular with the General Management of the ANDF to understand the positioning of the Agency and take an interest in its expertise. Particular emphasis was placed on the “Modernity and Land Security in BENIN” project implemented by the ANDF since 2016 and which is already yielding convincing results. The members of the delegation were entitled to two communications. The first made it possible to give an overview of the Agency through its mission, its activities and its organization within the framework of the institutional mechanism prescribed by the Land and State Code for the resumption of land and property management. The second took stock of the significant level of progress in Benin in land and property matters and the results obtained with the digitization of land archives, the computerization of land management procedures and the technical specifications of the cadastre being set up. . The very rich debates allowed the Togolese party to better appreciate the quality of the work that is being done as well as the fundamental options taken. It should be noted that the mission falls within the framework of an exchange visit which is part of the dynamics of sanitation and modernization of land and property management in Togo.
