The Minister of Economy and Finance of Benin continues to reform and improve the business environment. After the entry into force of the new Public Procurement Code in October 2017, Romuald WADAGNI adopted in the Council of Ministers this Wednesday, June 13, 2018, 11 specific application decrees to the Public Procurement Code in the Republic of Benin, prepared by the National Directorate of Public Procurement Control. These decrees were adopted under the authority of President Patrice Talon, very concerned to include Benin among the African countries where it is good to do business. It is an important reform which has just been accomplished under the authority of President Patrice Talon, who advocates governance based on transparency and the fight against corruption, The 11 implementing decrees of Law No. 2017-04 of October 19, 2017 on the Public Procurement Code in the Republic of Benin are as follows 1. decree relating to the attributions, organization and functioning of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (ARMP); 2. decree relating to the attributions, organization and functioning of the National Directorate for the Control of Public Procurement (DNCMP); 3. decree relating to the attributions, organization and functioning of the Person Responsible for Public Procurement (PRMP) and the Public Procurement Commission (CPMP); 4. decree relating to the attributions, organization and functioning of the Public Procurement Control Units (CCMP) in the Republic of Benin;
